Quantifying coherence with respect to general quantum measurements

چکیده
Coherence is a cornerstone of quantum theory and prerequisite for the advantage technologies. In recent work, notion coherence with respect to general measurement, i.e., positive operator-valued measure (POVM), was introduced embedded into resource-theoretic framework that generalizes standard resource coherence. particular, POVM-incoherent (free) states operations were established. this we explore features which arise due rich structure POVMs compared projective measurements. Moreover, introduce rigorous, probabilisitic POVM-based measures free operations. This leads introduction strongly monotonic neatly generalize well-known measures. Finally, show relative entropy POVM equal cryptographic randomness gain, providing an important operational meaning concept measurement.

Quantifying coherence with quantum addition
Quantum addition channels have been recently introduced in the context of deriving entropic power inequalities for finite dimensional quantum systems. We prove a reverse entropy power equality which can be used to analytically prove an inequality conjectured recently for arbitrary dimension and arbitrary addition weight. We show that the relative entropic difference between the output of such a...
متن کاملStability of quantum statistical ensembles with respect to local measurements.
We introduce a stability criterion for quantum statistical ensembles describing macroscopic systems. An ensemble is called "stable" when a small number of local measurements cannot significantly modify the probability distribution of the total energy of the system. We apply this criterion to lattices of spins-1/2, thereby showing that the canonical ensemble is nearly stable, whereas statistical...
متن کاملa comparison of teachers and supervisors, with respect to teacher efficacy and reflection
supervisors play an undeniable role in training teachers, before starting their professional experience by preparing them, at the initial years of their teaching by checking their work within the proper framework, and later on during their teaching by assessing their progress. but surprisingly, exploring their attributes, professional demands, and qualifications has remained a neglected theme i...

It was predicted that frequently repeated measurements on an unstable state may alter the decay rate of the state. This is called the quantum Zeno effect (QZE) or the anti-Zeno effect (AZE), depending on whether the decay is suppressed or enhanced. In conventional theories of the QZE and AZE, effects of measurements are simply described by the projection postulate, assuming that each measuremen...
متن کاملLIFTING MODULES WITH RESPECT TO A PRERADICAL
Let $M$ be a right module over a ring $R$, $tau_M$ a preradical on $sigma[M]$, and$Ninsigma[M]$. In this note we show that if $N_1, N_2in sigma[M]$ are two$tau_M$-lifting modules such that $N_i$ is $N_j$-projective ($i,j=1,2$), then $N=N_1oplusN_2$ is $tau_M$-lifting. We investigate when homomorphic image of a $tau_M$-lifting moduleis $tau_M$-lifting.
